Wednesday night should a lot of fun because its the first meeting of Joomla South East, one of a growing number of Joomla User Groups around the world.
We’re meeting from 7.00 to 9.00 pm at the 5 Seasons Brewing Company in Alpharetta. Their website is 5SeasonsBrewing.com and you can get a link to the site here. We have a conference room reserved over the brewery. It has an overhead project, wireless internet, plenty of power sockets for laptops and great food and beer.
This first meeting has 2 purposes:
- The first hour will be for networking and organization. Bring your business cards and get ready to make new contacts. Whats more – we have the same location booked for the next few months on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and we aim to plan some great follow-up meetings.
- The second hour will be a thorough overview of Joomla 1.5 answering questions such as:
- Whats new in 1.5?
- Should I build sites now with with 1.5?
- Can I upgrade my 1.0 sites to 1.5?
Drupal Meeting on Tuesday
